Willing Ways Pakistan is an accredited organization in Pakistan which is known for years helping the families and their loved one who fall prey to the chronic disease of drug addiction. We at Willing Ways provide the international standard treatment and are known for our results not only in Pakistan but across the borders as well. Our expertise does not end here we are recognized for our ‘counseling for change’ programs. Change that help individuals reach their goals that could not be accomplished because of some defined obstacles. We help remove those obstacles scientifically and hence a miracle happens.
In this video, Dr Shafali highlights the fact that in this new era of parenting we don’t use the words like punishment or spanking rather we use the word ‘consequence’. Following the cause and effect law of the nature which tells us that every action we take has a reaction and therefore the ultimate responsibility is ours. The requirement while training your child as a parent is to use the power of natural consequence. So the question arises what is power of natural consequence? As the name suggests these are those consequences that naturally emerge from that particular situation. With the help of an example Dr Shefali explains it as when a child after multiple reminders and talks does not switch off the lights of his/her room, than they are to face the natural consequence in the form of removing the bulbs from the child’s room thus cannot enjoy the privilege anymore. This way after facing the natural consequences the child learns the worth a light has.
