In this video Mr Brian Tracy talks about the daily habits of successful people. He starts with the quote of Aristotle that “95% of everything you do is the result of habit”.

During his talk he indicates the 5 habits that everyone needs to develop. Starting from the first habit that you need to develop is a habit of daily goal setting and goal orientation. Its mean when you go to sleep at night, think about your goals for the coming day. Make a list of daily based goals, small goals that you are going to accomplish that specific day. Keep a journal of your goals on regular basis. Your thoughts play a vital role in either making you or breaking you and thus your achievements are actually a result of your thoughts. All successful and wealthy people follow goal setting regularly.
Moving on to Second habit, it is about being result oriented. Result oriented people always thinking about most important things in order to achieve their most important results. Successful people make a list of everything they have to do and before they start working, they set priorities. Discipline yourself to work non-stop until you complete that one activity.

Third habit is to become people oriented, which means that everything you achieve in life is with the help, support and cooperation of other people. Always think what other people expect from you and how can you help other people so they help you back.
The Fourth habit is to stay health oriented. Think about your health most of the time. Think about eating best and better food, doing daily exercise, and taking rest regularly.
Most important fifth habit is to stay honest. Always tell the truth, no matter what the price. The final habit is of self discipline. Self discipline seems to be the foundation habit that makes everything possible. The best definition of self discipline is “the ability to make yourself do, what you should do and when you should do it, whether you feel like doing it or not”. This means that rather than following what you are currently feeling, you just practice the self – discipline habit and thus make everything possible. The one habit that you should start developing right now which eventually generates a domino effect over other habits and results eventually in achieving your most important goals is to start practicing that habit everyday unless it becomes automatic.

In this video the topic of good and bad habits is discussed. Form good habits and make them your master rather than allowing bad habits to form you. In his opinion, good habits are hard to form but easy to live with. Bad habits are easy to form but hard to live with. All habits are learned and can be unlearned. Actually you don’t need to unlearn the habit; you simply need to replace it with good habit. How do you develop a good habit, you develop it by repetition.
